Private Workshop FAQ & Policies

Can I choose more than one project?
Well, yes and no. The workshops are very different from one another and I am only one teacher. I pride myself on instructing in a way that is both enjoyable and the end product is something that you are proud of. Because of this I only teach one method at a time, either the copper feathers OR copper the animal silhouettes for ease of teaching within a realistic time frame (2.5-3 hours). If your group wants to do both, an additional $30/participant will be added to the total, and the time frame will be in the 4-6 hour range. Please contact me if you are interested in two workshops.

I have a large group (more than 10) How are payments handled? NEW (as of 2/2/18)
A deposit of 20% is required to reserve your date. The remainder of payments are handled through EventBrite, each attendee is emailed a URL to the event page to purchase their ticket. Payments are due within one week (7 days) of the event URL being sent.

Oh no! I have to cancel! What happens?
For Workshop Hosts: We understand that life happens. In the event that the host must cancel 72 hours or less before the workshop, the down payment is forfeit unless other arrangements can be made. Timber Lane Studio will arrange a new workshop time with the host scheduled within 60 days of the original event. Any events that are cancelled & rescheduled 2 times, all monies (including deposit and tickets sold) are considered forfeit.

For Individual Participants: I always encourage the participant to find someone to purchase their seat. Because of the nature of the workshop I cannot offer refunds.

Additonal Policies

Minimum class size is 8 participants, if the class size falls below the minimum, the difference of ticket cost will be added to the remaining tickets.

Timber Lane Studio is not responsible for any injury acquired during the workshops. When handled properly, copper is perfectly safe. However accidents (cuts/nicks on skin) can happen. If you find yourself a magnet for accidents please wear a gardening-type glove and have adhesive bandages on hand.

Timber Lane Studio is not responsible for a project that isn't to your liking. I hope that is not the case, but please know your ticket will not be refunded if you are unhappy with the end result. The cost of the workshop is as much about materials and instruction as it is about the experience.
